Dark Chocolate Chia Energy Balls
These have quickly become my favorite #guiltfree snack because they are #glutenfree #sugarfeee #whole30approved[not that I really care 🙈] and are #nursingfriendly, especially when I add a little #brewersyeast and some @betterbodyfoods superfood blend. They give me a boost of energy, curbs my hunger between meals and satisfies that constant #sweettooth. Basically, we all need some of these in our lives.
🌿INGREDIENTS🌿
◽️1 Cup Oats
◽️1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
◽️2 Tbsp Molasses
◽️1/4 Cup Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil
◽️1 Tbsp Almond Butter
◽️1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
◽️6 Dates (Chopped)
◽️1/4 – 1/2 Cup Chia Seeds
🔻INSTRUCTIONS🔻
1. Dice Dates if you haven’t already.
2. Mix all ingredients together, well.
3. Scoop into little balls. I like to size them with a heaping Teaspoon for little bites, or flattened Tablespoon for larger bites.
4. Refrigerate to keep firm. I store extras in the freezer to prolong bigger batches!
