◽️Thick Maple Syrup
◽️Salmon Rub
◽️Shredded Coconut (Sweetened)
◽️Lemon Pepper
🔻INSTRUCTIONS🔻
1. Rub salmon rub on both sides of salmon (even if there is skin).
2. On medium to medium high heat grill meat side of salmon for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Take off of grill and put on cookie sheet or some sort of flat surface that can be cleaned.
4. After salmon has cooled down, drizzle maple syrup (or honey or both) over the meat side of the salmon until covered entirely.
5. Then cover salmon with sweet shredded coconut and press firmly for a thick coconut crust.
6. Sprinkle lemon pepper over coconut and lightly drizzle more maple syrup or honey (just enough for a little squiggly pattern on top of coconut)
7. Grill until salmon is rare to rare/medium rare and tent all coconut salmon with thick tinfoil. This will toast the coconut.
8. Cook to medium/medium rare and plate (let sit on plate or serving platter for 5 minutes to continue cooking) salmon should be moist with a paper thin line of rare in the middle. Best served hot.
