Grape Salad

Summer has slipped away from us but this tasty treat deserves a spot in the recipe box!


INGREDIENTS
2 lbs. red and/or green grapes
1 (8oz.) pkg. of cream cheese
1 (8oz.) container of sour cream
1/2 cup of sugar
1/8 cup of brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
chopped walnuts/pecans {optional}

DIRECTIONS
1. Remove grapes from stem and wash thoroughly. Set aside.
2. Warm the cream cheese in microwave for about 30 seconds or so before dumping into a large mixing bowl. [This is the secret to getting a smooth, clump-free cream cheese!!]
3. Mix in the sour cream, vanilla and both sugars until your mixture is nice and creamy.
4. Fold the grapes and nuts into the cream cheese mixture (by hand) until grapes are evenly coated.
5. Refrigerate and serve when cold.
